Tecnosky 70/420 mm FPL55 Apochromat - OWL Series

Tecnosky presents the OWL version of the popular 70 mm apo triplet!

The optics consist of an FPL55 triplet with multi-layer coating on all optical surfaces, which makes the refractor one of the telescopes with its aperture least affected by chromatic aberration.

Like with all OWL series telescopes an individual optical certificate with Strehl ratio of at least 0.95 is included!

This refractor gives sharp and contrasty images without the slightest hint of chromatism; it can be used successfully as a high-quality travel telescope, luxury guide telescope, or as an incredible astrograph thanks to the dedicated full frame 0.8x flattening reducer that brings it up to f/4.8!

The all-aluminum tube is compact and lightweight and with the retractable dew shield makes it the smallest 70 mm apochromat on the market - it even has space in air luggage.

The 2.5" rack-and-pinion focuser is precise and smooth, without bending even with heavy loads (up to 2 kg). It is equipped with the convenient 1:10 dual-speed knob as usual and a precise field rotator. The 2-inch eyepiece holder has a rotary "quick-lock" locking system.

The elegant tube ring has a Vixen style dovetail bar and a convenient "Arca-Swiss" compatible handle, a finder shoe is mounted on the focuser.
