TS-Optics ToupTek G3M662M Monochrome Camera and Autoguider - Chip D=6.45 mm

This camera is the ultimate autoguider and much more. The Sony IMX662 monochrome sensor impresses with an outstanding QE of over 91%. Only a few sensors achieve this level of sensitivity. Another special feature is the extremely high resolution thanks to 2.9 µm pixels. This makes this camera very interesting for astrophotography.

The advantages of the G3M662M as an autoguider

You will always find a guide star, even with off-axis guiding – guaranteed!

Thanks to the high resolution, you can easily track telescopes with an aperture of up to 11" using a 50 mm finder – finder guiding is possible.

The practical 1.25“ housing makes adaptation easy. Insert the camera into the 1.25” mount, focus, and get started.

Short working distance from the front edge to the chip – so you can focus even at short distances.

Weighing only 70 grams, the focuser is hardly burdened.

ST4 cable and ST4 port are of course included. Connect the camera directly to the autoguiding port of the mount.

The advantages of the G3M662M as an astro camera

The camera fits into any 1.25" focuser. Clamp the camera like an eyepiece, focus, and start astrophotography.

Thanks to its high sensitivity, the G3M662M is also suitable for photographing nebulae and galaxies.

The camera is equipped with a clear glass filter that is also transparent to infrared light. This makes exciting infrared photography possible.

The camera no longer has any annoying amp glow, allowing for longer exposure times with very high contrast.

Spectral sensitivity
The sensor impresses not only with its very high sensitivity, but also with its wide sensitivity range. Sensitivity remains very high deep into the infrared range. This means more stars for guiding, but also opens up the exciting field of infrared photography (Venus, Mars, etc.) – less influence from seeing, meaning sharper images!
