This compact apochromatic telescope can do much more than just guide: It excels as an outstanding guide scope and also as a high-quality telephoto lens for use both day and night. The optics are designed for sensors up to 1" and offer excellent field correction as well as uniform illumination. The three-element lens effectively corrects chromatic aberrations and ensures a uniform image field with sharp, clean stars all the way to the edge. This allows for detailed images with high image quality. Thanks to the screw-off tube segments, the apochromat can be flexibly customized. This also allows for the use of star diagonals and Amici prisms. In no time at all, the photo apo transforms into a high-performance spotting scope for nature and sky observation.

CNC Precision Machining - Fine Matte Finish

The tube, tube rings, and dovetail are CNC-machined from aluminum alloy. This ensures optimal stability and precision despite the lightweight construction.The anodized surfaces offer wear and corrosion resistance suitable for field astronomy. The fine, matte texture is comfortable, durable, and non-slip.

Modular tube for maximum flexibility in observation and photography

The tube comes with two M48x0.75 extension segments, each 70 mm long. You can easily screw the segments together. This allows you to optimize the focus position for all applications. With the focuser retracted, the following focus positions are available:

All segments screwed in ... for MINI cameras with a 1.25" body and direct viewing

One segment screwed in ... for astro cameras, DSLRs, and mirrorless cameras, and for observation with a 1.25" star diagonal or Amici prism

No segment screwed in ... for special adaptations, such as longer focusers, 2" applications ...

Ball-bearing-mounted AR RAP focuser for high stability and accuracy

We are committed to quality down to the last detail which is why we offer this apochromatic telescope exclusively with the high-quality RAP focuser. This focuser, featuring a robust rack-and-pinion drive and precise ball-bearing guides, ensures maximum stability and smooth, precise focusing. Even with heavy camera equipment, the focus remains reliably where it belongs. The focuser is compatible with electronic motorized focus systems, such as AAF from ToupTek or EAF from ZWO.

The apo is particularly flexible thanks to the modular dovetail

An M5 internal thread on the top of the CNC tube rings allows for the attachment of additional accessories. The multifunctional mount on the bottom fits into standard finder shoes, allowing the apochromat to be used as a super-finder or as a guide scope. Of course, a 1/4" thread for photo tripods is also available.
