The Celestron 6" f/5 newtonian is a powerful allround telescope for observing and astrophotography:

The Celestron Newtonian with 150mm aperture and 750mm focal length is a classic one not only amongst beginners scopes, but also amongst stargazers with some more experience. The image is free of chromatic aberration and bears a high contrast as the insturment does not use any dioptric element, albeit it is so compact with it´s tube length being only 67cm.

This image is made through this 150mm f/5 Newtonian and a Canon EOS DSLR camera.

The stable 1.25" metal focuser holds cameras with good stability and the position can be fixed with a screw.

Connection is very simple, thanks the T2 (M42x0.75) connection thread. You will reach the focus with DSLR without problems.
