Teleskop-Service focuses on uncompromising optical and mechanical quality with the PHOTOLINE APO series.
This apochromatic refractor is equipped with one the best objectives of its class. The moderate focal ratio and the use of two special glasses (FPL53 and lanthanum glass) allows for a correction which is clearly above the level of two-lens ED apos in this price range. The image quality is comparable with three-element lenses. The telescope can be used visually without any restrictions and, thanks to the optional field flattener and focal reducer, there is also no obstacle to astrophotography.
The advantages and features of the Photoline 125 mm f/7.8 apo:
Air-spaced dublet objective with no relevant chromatic aberration - special glasses FPL53 (from Ohara) and lanthanum glass. Temperature-compensated, fully adjustable cell made of metal. 2.5" RAP Photoline dual-speed rack and pinion focuser - holds accessories up to 5 kg Direct M68 thread connection for correctors and reducers Working distance 150 mm from the 2" receptacle If using binoviewers or extreme reducers (Riccardi), the working distance can be extended to 210 mm. Stable aluminum tube with internal baffles CNC tube rings with GP/EQ5 style dovetail bar Weight: 7.57 kg - very portable and small mounts like the EQ5 or Celestron Advanced VX can carry the apo.An ultimative, high-end 2.5" focuser:
The 2.5" RPA focuser is a good alternative to the well-known Starlight FeatherTouch FTF25 - with a quality very close to it. The focuser holds camera-side accessories up to approx. 5 kg without tilting. The illumination is sufficient for full-frame size sensors.
Adjustment by rack and pinion - no friction - no yielding, unlike a Crayford focuser M68x1 female thread for further adaptations 2" and 1.25" self-centering accessory adapters Built-in extension with M95x1 connection thread and 60 mm length. If it is removed, the working distance increases from 150 mm to 210 mm, for example for binoviewers or reducers.
Astrophotography with the TS 125mm APO:
TS 0.8x Photoline focal length reducer and corrector - TSRedM63-125 The corrector is specially calculated for the 125 mm f/7.8 objective and offers the best possible performance. The corrector improves the focal ratio to f/6.24 and thus enables short exposure times The corrector is simply screwed into the M68x1 connection thread of the focuser using the M68a-M63i adapter (linked). Nothing is pushed in, so tilting is impossible. The working distance is exactly 55 mm, so the connection of an astro camera, for example from ZWO, is no problem, because with the cooled cameras the adapters to 55 mm are always included. DSLR and mirrorless system cameras can also be adapted without any problems.

Question:
How do I get to the M68x1 female thread?
Answer from Teleskop-Service:
At the transition from the 2" clamp to the drawtube you have three small grub screws, you must loosen these, then you can unscrew the 2" clamp and you have the M68x1 female thread on the extension tube available
