Skywatcher Evostar-90 EQ3-2 / Refractor Telescope 90/900 mm

Skywatcher 90/900 optics:

This optics is equipped with an achromatic objective. Because of a special combination of two lenses within the objective, most of the colour aberrations can be corrected. Thus, you do not have to face so many disturbing irregularities as usual with common Fraunhofer refractors. The aperture ratio of 1:10 has an additional positive effect.

A 6x30 finder scope, two eyepieces and a zenith mirror are included in delivery as accessories.

Skywatcher EQ3-2 mount:

The mount provides a stable base for most small to medium-sized optics and is ideal for exploring the night sky.

In opposite to an alt-azimuth mount, only one axis has to be rotated for following the apparent motion of the stars, as this axis is aligned parallel to the earth´s axis.

Motors are available for the EQ-3-2 to provide automatic tracking and a polar finder for precise alignement, making your first experiments in astrophotography possible. The aluminium tripod is extendable and can be adjusted to a height of from 71 to 121 cm. An accessory tray has room for eyepieces and other items.
