Switch between H-Alpha and white light with a simple toggle

A combination of neutral density and blocking filters allows you to effortlessly switch between H-alpha and white light modes. Fascinating prominences or striking sunspots - you decide what you want to see without having to reach for a second instrument.

Excellent optics for maximum sharpness and contrast

Maximum optical performance is ensured by a high-quality ED glass element in the objective lens, which takes sharpness, contrast, color fidelity, and detail reproduction to a new level. In H-alpha mode, the integrated 40-mm etalon with a bandwidth of 0.6 angstroms (or better) delivers spectacular views of prominences, filaments, and the finest surface structures. In white light mode, sunspots and faculae regions are revealed with impressive clarity.

Photographers will also get their moneys worth

Thanks to the included smartphone adapter, you can also get started with solar photography using your smartphone. A 1.25" connector with up to 25 mm of back focus allows for the adaptation of nearly all standard planetary cameras. Even with small sensors, the Sun is captured in full frame.
