The Acuter Elite Phoenix 40 represents a remarkable level of specification and performance at its price level!

The Acuter Acuter Elite Phoenix 40 is a safe solar telescope equipped with a 40 mm aperture front mounted etalon for the observation of active solar prominences and other solar details in the H-alpha band, with a performance of 0.6 Angstrom or better.

Viewing the Sun in the narrow H-alpha band, the observer is rewarded with exciting, awe-inspiring real-time views of our nearest star in its full fiery majesty, seething with activity and revealing exciting details such as solar flares, prominences, spicules, granulation, sunspots and more!

The telescope is supplied with a universal smartphone camera adapter so that you can take photos with your cell phone to keep a photographic record of your observations. An additional UV/IR blocking filter is not necessary because these ranges are already blocked.

The Acuter Elite Phoenix 40 conforms to and meets the transmission requirements of ISO 12312-2:2015 (Filters for the direct observation of the Sun).
