Sharpstar 61EDPH III 61 mm f/4.4 Triplet Apochromat (using 0.75x Reducer)The Sharpstar apo refractor with 61 mm aperture and the fast focal ratio of f/4.4 is a solid and fast optic for astrophotography. The refractor enables deep astro images with relatively short exposure times and is corrected up to full frame format thanks to the 0.75x reducer and corrector.

Link to AstrobinFurther information about the 61EDPH bundle:The objective of the 61EDPH III is an air-spaced triplet APO design. This means you can expect good chromatic correction even with bright stars. Together with the 0.75x reducer, the 61EDPH III forms a powerful telescope for astrophotography. The combination has a focal length of 270 mm, a focal ratio of f/4.4 and corrects the 44 mm full-frame image circle.
A multifunction handle, which also offers a finder shoe, further enhances the apo. Furthermore, the 61EDPH III is equipped with a 200 mm long Vixen style dovetail bar, which allows easy connection to equatorial mounts and accessories and makes the OTA easier to balance on the mount. The tube features high-quality CNC machining, a high-quality surface coating and a polished anodized finish - elegant and durable.
0.75x image field corrector - included in the scope of delivery: The 4-element corrector and reducer corrects the field up to full format and also illuminates it well.On the telescope side, the corrector is screwed to the focuser via an M68×1 female thread. The other end of the reducer has a male M48×0.75 thread with a built-in 2" filter thread. The back focus is 55 mm. If it is to be enlarged, the reducer can be split to expose an M54×0.75 internal thread. The back focus is then 75 mm.
The optional 1.0x corrector for more focal length - SHFLAT61: The 270 mm focal length is often too short and you want a little more focal length for more resolution. For this purpose, we offer the 1.0x corrector specially designed for the 61 mm objective. Simply screw the 1.0x SHFLAT61 into the focuser instead of the reducer and you have the full 360 mm focal length of the objective at your disposal. The flattener offers correction and illumination up to full format, too.
