The BKR1201 on the robust equatorial mount EQ5 ...

... is a powerful all-rounder that performs well in all areas of astronomy. With a weight of only about 5 kg at a length of 100 cm (optical tube), the Fraunhofer refractor still clearly belongs to the transportable telescopes. 120 mm aperture already collects 44% more light than comparable telescopes with 100 mm aperture and also the resolution is much higher. Correspondingly fine details on moon and planets can be observed. Fine and faint nebulae are imaged behind needle-sharp stars with high contrast.

The EQ5 equatorial mount with stainless steel tripod

The refractor is offered complete on the EQ5 astronomical mount. The height adjustable stainless steel tripod (90 cm to 127 cm) provides the necessary stability. The same telescope is often offered on the smaller mount EQ3. We are convinced that the stable EQ5 is a better alternative with much less vibrations and a much higher stiffness.
