TS 0.8x focal reducer for the 126 mm f/7 quadruplet flatfield refractor

The focal reducer improves the focal ratio of the quadruplet apo to f/5.6 and shortens the exposure times accordingly. The focal length is reduced to 705 mm. The flat field of view of the apo is not changed. We recommend the corrector for sensors up to APS-C format. With these sensors, the optical performance is very good. The reducer has been especially designed for the 126 mm flat-field apochromat.

Connecting the reducer to the telescope:
The corrector is screwed directly to the focuser via the M70x1 thread. This guarantees an optimal fit without tilting.

Connecting the camera to the reducer:
An M63x1 female thread is available on the camera side. The working distance is 55 mm from the M48 thread. Most astro cameras, mirrorless system cameras and SLR cameras offer adapters with which you can achieve exactly this distance. There is also an internal thread for 2" filters.
