TS 2" Anti-Halo UV/IR-Cut Filter

The filter blocks ultraviolet and infrared light, which refractive optics, that is optics containing lenses, are usually not corrected for. The result is sharper images and finer stars.

In addition, the filter has an anti-halo feature that greatly reduces the annoying halos (see third image) around bright, smaller objects.

The filter is suitable for a focal ratio not faster f/1.4 and is therefore also suitable for very fast optics such as high aperture camera lenses.

Our customer Christoph Becker has described his experiences with this filter briefly and practically (automatic translation, checked by TS):

"I have been using the UV/IR cut filter as a standard filter with the Celestron Origin (as a replacement for the glass filter) for several months now. It significantly reduces the reflection problem of the RASA design and has the best anti-reflection coating of all my filters. The star colors are natural and the stars are razor sharp.
