The result is a user-friendly telescope for beginners and advanced amateur astronomers for maximum fun on astronomy. Maksutov telescopes are designed for highest magnifications, they are regarded as planetary specialists. But with 127 mm aperture, this telescope also gathers enough light for showing you many thousands of deep-sky objects - whether you observe double stars, diffuse nebulae or galaxies, with the SLT127, all of these objects are within reach.
Advantages and features of the NexStar 127 SLT at a glance:
High-quality and powerful Maksutov optics, suitable for daytime and night observations Ready for 1.25" accessories and T2 photo accessories Complete GoTo mount with approx. 4,000 objects in the date base with outomatic positionen and tracking Menue language can be chosen. SkyAlign allows alignment with three bright celestial objects which are automatically approached by the mount, calibration of the GoTo control becomes child´s play. Optimal for transport - in a few simple steps, the telescope can be disassembled tool-free in three compact parts. Due to the practical internal focusing, you can attach any accessories to the telescope, from a camara to a binoviewer. NexStar SLT - GoTo computer control for everyone:
You always wanted to view celestial objects with a comfortable telescope by pressing a button? Celestron´s Star Locating Telescope allows this for an unbelievable price! You have a built-in GoTo computer control with SkyAlign technology, multi-lingual menu navigation and extensive data base - at an excellent price-performance ratio.
With these telescopes, you can find any celestial object instantly and without prior knowledge! Planets, comets, galaxies, nebulae - it´s all there at a push of a button. A gigantic range of observable celestial objects is at your disposal and, on request, the computer suggests what can be observed at the moment.
The tripod, already assembled ready foruse, and the quick-couplings for connecting to the fork mount and for attaching the optical tube assembly to the fork allow assembling within minutes - without tools! Youjust have to extend the tripod to a comfortable height, thread the mount to the tripod, attach the telescope with dovetail and saddle plate and insert an eyepiece - ready.
SkyAlign - initialising without any knowledge about the sky.
The NexStar SLT mount has motors with encoders in both axes and a hand controller with 4,000 objects in the data base. For initialising the computer control, you just have to enter time and location (select from data base) into the hand controller and locate any three bright celestial objects - it doesn´t matter which ones, you even fo not need to know them! Now the mount knows how the sky above it looks like and locates any further object at the push of a button.
Comprehensive star catalogues and TOUR function for an overview
The hand controller contains a data base mit more than 4,000 objects. Among them are, of course, the planets of the solar system and countless galaxcies, emission nebulae, star clusters and interesting stars. Is it difficult for you to choose? Then use the TOUR mode which shows you a selection of the most beautiful objects every evening and explains each of them per text output in the display.
