Skywatcher Evostar 150 mm Refractor according to Fraunhofer
A refractor with 150 mm aperture and a good image, that is the dream of many amateur astronomers. Until recently, refractors with this aperture were reserved for observatories and semiprofessionally working amateur astronomers. Now we can offer this telescope at an affordable price.
The Skywatcher Evostar 150 is a versatile telescope
Lunar and planetary observing: Jupiter´s moons, in calm air, can be seen as discs of different size. Mars reveals finest details and also becoming and passing of the ice-covered polar caps can be observed. The moon is blotched with finest rilles, escarpments and craters where smaller apertures only show smooth surface. From 120x magnification upwards, we recommend the "Semi Apo Filter" from Baader which enhances contrast further.
Deep-sky observing: Deep-Sky observation is a great pleasure with this refractor. Weak structures in diffuse nebulae are as visible as globular clusters beyond our galaxy which can be resolved into single stars. We strongly recommend to use 2" wide angle eyepieces. Only in this manner, a sense of space emerges when observing large-area deep-sky objects.
Photography: The refractor already comes with a T2 connector, so you can directly adapt your DSLR camera and start into the exciting area of astrophotography.

Skywatcher´s powerful mount holds the refractor with good stability and even has reserves for heavy accessories.
Fast GoTo adjustment with quiet motors Over 13,7000 objects stored in memory Any objects adjustable via coordinates (comets) Clean tracking - also for astrophotography PEC (correction of the worm gear error) for astrophotographyImportant note about power supply:To avoid loss of warranty, please use only the power supplies and mobile supplies recommended by us. Especially simple car batteries or sealed lead-acid batteries can lead to an under-supply, which can then damage the sensitive electronics of the mount. Operating a Skywatcher GoTo mount with a non-proprietary power supply not recommended by us is at your own risk. Thank you for your understanding. Here is the link to more information:
