TS-Optics 2x ED Barlow lens, 2 inch - BIG BARLOW
Large barrel and receptacle size, large clear aperture
The advantages of a 2" focuser can also be used with a Barlow lens by selecting one with a 2-inch connection and a suitably large clear aperture. Of course, the quality must be right - our "Big Barlow" has an ED element to significantly reduce chromatic aberration and multiple coatings on all glass-air surfaces to prevent reflections, which together result in a sharp, high-contrast, and clear image without annoying reflected light.

Larger diameter, larger eyepieces
The large barrel size of this "Luxury Barlow" allows you to use your favorite 2" eyepieces and thus double their magnification. The large clear aperture of the Barlow element (37 mm) prevents vignetting at the edge of the field of view, even with long focal length wide-angle eyepieces.

The included reduction adapter allows you to use 1.25" eyepieces and benefit from their often shorter focal lengths - high magnification with more eye relief.

Further option: second magnification
Do not insert the 2" eyepiece into the Barlow lens, but screw its Barlow element into the filter thread of the 2" eyepiece. This reduces the Barlow factor to 1.5x, which is helpful if doubling the magnification is too much.

Astrophotography with longer focal length, but without vignetting
Compact objects such as most galaxies require a longer focal length, but with a 1.25" connection, you often lose your true field of view. With the 2" Barlow lens, even sensors in 35 mm format are completely illuminated - less vignetting, more usable image field.

Use with binoviewers
If you cannot focus with a binoviewer, you can use a Barlow lens to compensate for the glass path. Screw the Barlow element into the filter thread of the 2" adapter for the binoviewer, and you will be able to focus again. The fact that the optical path of the 1.25" adapter on the telescope is eliminated further improves the focus position.

Other benefits:
Gentle clamping via compression rings instead of simple screws
Knurled rubber coating allows for safe handling even when wearing gloves
2" filter threads in the barrel and at the bottom of the reduction adapter simplify filter use when using multiple eyepieces
1.25" adapter slightly lowered in the center, resulting in basically the same focus position as the 2" connection

Applications summarized:
Visual Use - 2x - just insert the Barlow lens between the eyepiece and the telescope and you will double the magnification. At the same time you will retain the comfortable eye relief of the longer focal length eyepiece.
Visual Use - 1.5x - just screw the lens element of the Barlow lens directly into the filter thread of your eyepiece. The resulting magnification is reduced to about 1.5x.
Photographical Converter - just screw the lens element of the Barlow lens into a 2" nose piece for your camera (like TSFA2). This turns the Barlow into a photographical converter with a factor between 1.5x and 2x (depending on the distance between lens and camera sensor).
Glass Path Corrector - binoviewers require a long back focus distance that most telescopes do not provide. With the Barlow element you can move the focal plane further out, eliminating this problem in most cases. The effective magnification factor is about 2.6x with most binoviewers.

"Eine Barlowlinse der Extra-Klasse!!! Auf Durchmesser 39mm optimale Bildschärfe - sogar bis zum Rand. Ich bin begeistert!!! Wo findet man so etwas sonst?
