Vixen A105M achromatic refractor with magnesiumflouride-coated glass
The A105Ms optics were redesigned by Vixen and now convince with an exceptionally sharp image with little color defect. Vixen has been selling this achromat successfully for many years. Despite its inexpensive competition the A105M stood its ground confidently. The reason for this is its high-quality glass made in Japan as well as its overall build- and accessory-quality. After the most recent improvement this instrument stands out even further against its low-price chinese competition.
The image is particularly sharp and compared to similar telescopes of this instrument class the chromatic aberration is fairly low. This powerful refractor with 105 mm aperture is one of the most flexible and most transportable telescopes for amateur astronomers. The aperture gathers enough light to detect many galaxies and nebulae. Nevertheless color fringing is kept within reasonable limits, allowing successful moon- and planetary observation even at high magnification.
Even astrophotography is possible - primarily moon and planetary photography. The required adaptors and extension rings can be found in our shop.

I can recommend JMI Motofocus For Vixen 2.7" Focuser, for this telescop. Is good to use an motor focuser when looking or imaging saturn for example. I also upgraded the objective/ mirror diagonal holder with an baader climp lock 2", that i am very satisfied with. This telescope i love in my environment. Its light and i get good picture result with the telescope of the planets and the moon.
