TS-Optics ADC for sharper planetary photos and observations
When planets or the moon stand close to the horizon, often the only thing you can see is a blurry disk with color shift, like through a prism. This effect happens because of diffraction of our atmosphere, because the object´s light has to travel through a much longer path through the atmosphere. Often one must wait several hours until the sharpness improves and sometimes the planet stays low because of its orbit.

The TS-Optics ADC is THE solution. Simply installed between camera/eyepiece and focuser, it provides sharper planetary images - even close to the horizon.

How the ADC works - Atmospheric-Dispersion-Corrector:
Our atmosphere diffracts the light in different ways, depending on the wavelength. Red light is diffracted differently than blue light. The closer the objects stand to the horizon, the stronger the effect occurs.

Due to the adjustment lever on the ADC you are shifting the two prisms inside the corrector and as a result compensate this atmospheric effect. One basically neutralized this color shift. The adjustments can be done during observation or photography. You can immediately see the effect. The color fringing is removed and both details and resolution are improved.

The connection to the telescope and the connection of eyepieces or cameras:
The TS-Optics ADC consists of three parts, that can be screwed together via a T2 (M42x0,75) thread.
1.25" receptacle with T2 male thread
The middle part, the corrector, with a T2 female thread on the telescope side and a T2 male thread on the camera/eyepiece side
1.25" adapter suitable for eyepieces with T2 thread

This means you can attach the TS-Optics ADC to each telescope with 1.25" or with T2 thread. You can also connect all customary cameras or eyepieces via the T2 thread or via the 1.25" receptacle.

The features and benefits of the TS-ADC in summary:
Simple connection via T2 and 1.25" on both sides
30 mm free aperture
Up to 99% light transmission due to high-quality coating of the prisms - planetary images remain bright and contrast-rich
Convenient operation - eyepiece or camera don´t have to be removed
Usable with all telescopes; you achieve best results with f/10 or slower. For more light-sensitive telescopes we recommend using a Barlow lens (see accessory section)

"Have not had the opportunity to use on planets yet but using on Moon image seems clear. Does not come with instructions which is disappointing as it is not obvious how to use it."
