TS-Optics REFRACTOR 1.0x Field Corrector - 2 inches - with M48 connection

The basis of this corrector is the proven TSFLAT2, a professional corrector for refractors that is already used in over a thousand amateur telescopes. We have now combined the corrector with adapters that allow connection to many refractors without complicated calculations and adaptations.

The corrector can be used on the following refractors:

All refractors (apo, EDT, ED, achromats, etc.) designed for 2" accessories. From a focal length of 600 mm, the corrector can be used directly, with a working distance of 55 mm from the camera thread. The stop edge also ensures a clean and reproducible connection.

The working distance with refractors with a focal length of 500 mm to 590 mm is extended to 60 mm from the T2 thread, so you need a 5 mm long M48 extension tube (see accessory recommendations).

The working distance with refractors with a focal length of 450 mm to 490 mm is extended to 65 mm from the T2 thread, so you need a 10 mm long M48 extension tube (see accessory recommendations).

Connecting camera-side accessories

Adaptation is easy thanks to the M48 (M48x0.75) connection thread and the working distance of 55 mm. Most cameras (DSLR, mirrorless system cameras or astro cameras) already offer adaptation to M48, where the sensor is exactly 55 mm away. This is standard in photography. Suitable T-rings are linked.

This corrector offers another special feature: if you want to adapt additional accessories such as off-axis guiders, filter wheels, or drawers, the working distance can be extended to up to 80 mm from the M48 thread. All you need to do is unscrew the extension rings. The clean adaptation with the stop remains unchanged, of course.
