TS variable M48 Extension for setting of exact focus distances

]TSM48FL was developed by Teleskop-Service for accurate setting of distances from cameras to correctors. Due to the stable design, even accessories of several kilograms weight can be held precisely.

The distance is continously variable between 20.5 mm and 31 mm and can be locked by a stable, 5 mm thick locking ring. The locking ring has a lateral lever which allows reliable clamping, but also easy loosening of the clamping even with gloves.

The adapter consists of three parts all of which can be used separately:

The telescope-side connector with a female M48x0.75 thread and a continous male M63x1 thread. This extends a male M48 thread to a male M63 thread.

Massive locking ring with a continous female M68x1 thread and a locking lever at the side

The camera-side connection adaptor has a long female M63x1 thread and a male M48x0.75 thread. It is also an M48 connection adapter for all focusers and adapters with male M63x1 thread

Die Verlängerung funktionert einwandfrei zum Ermitteln des optimalen Arbeitsabstandes. In Verbindung mit einem 0,73x Newtonreducer ist der Adapter jedoch nicht sinnvoll einsetzbar, da er beim Kontern minimal verkippt und der Reducer extrem empfindlich auf Verkippung reagiert.
