TS 80mm guide scope and autoguider - tracking package for astrophotography

Teleskop-Service offers you a complete set, consisting of a high-resolution guide scope with a large (80 mm) aperture and a powerful autoguiding camera, for long exposures with your telescope. This complete solution is easy to install and enables active tracking control, also known as autoguiding. We recommend the set for guiding telescopes up to 16" aperture.

The connection to the telescope is very simple.]
The guide scope is supplied with an EQ5 Vixen level dovetail bar. This allows adaptation to any double mount, parallel mount or dual mount. Using the adjustment screws, you can now adjust the guide scope perfectly parallel to the main telescope. Alternatively, you can also piggyback a suitable dovetail clamp onto the tube clamps and adapt the guide scope directly to the main telescope. Weighing only 1100 grams, the telescope is only slightly heavier than a larger finder.

[The connection of the ASI 120Mini to the guide scope:
The focus of the guide scope is only a few mm above the 1.25" receptacle in the inner position of the focuser. The adaptation is easy, you can easily do it during the day.

Attach the 1.25" extension tube to the ASI120 Mini.

Turn the helical focuser of the guiding scope to the center position.

Slide the ASI 120Mini into the focuser and try to obtain a sharp image on the computer.

Mark the position on the 1.25" tube, e.g. by sticking a small strip of Thesa on it.

During the night you can now set the perfect sharpness with the helical and then fix the position with the small clamping screw - the set is ready for use.
