Celestron 9,25" (235 mm) f/10 Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescope - Astrophotography Bundle
A Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope is very well suited for photographing star clusters, planetary nebulae and galaxies if one has the necessary accessories. Here, we offer a completely equipped Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope with all necessary accessories for successful astrophotography - an all-round carefree package.
The astrophotography package consists of the following parts:
Celestron C9.25 Schmidt-Cassegrain: compact and versatile telescope with 235 mm aperture and 2350 mm focal length. The telescope can already be carried by compact mounts like H-EQ5 or the Advanced VX from Celestron. Nevertheless, more reserves are offered by the EQ6 or CGEM mounts. The SCT is equipped with a dovetail bar for direct attachment to mounts.

You coarsely set the focus with the main mirror. Then, the exact focus is reached with the focuser. Through the 1:10 reduction, you can achieve an even higher accuracy. You can motorize the focuser, too (optionally).

With Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes (and similar systems), we always recommend guiding with an off-axis guider, not with a guiding scope. The accuracy increases and the load on the mount is reduced. The TS Off-Axis Guider is perfectly matched to the corrector. The adaption of an autoguider or a reticle eyepiece is done simply by a T2 connection at the side.

The advantages of the Celestron SC telescope in conjunction with the TS astrophotography package:
You get all necessary adapters with one purchase. The painstaking search for matching adapters is no longer necessary. You get a Celestron SC telescope of latest design - of course FastStar compatible. The high-quality 4-element corrector was developed for Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes and offers a very good correction of the field up to APS-C format. With the TSOAG16, the problem of guiding is also solved. The connection of the camera at the astrophotography packageD:
The distance from the T2-thread of the off-axis guider to the camera sensor is exactly 55 mm, so you can directly attach your DSLR camera (or another camera) with the optional T2 ring. For CCD cameras, we recommend suitable extension tubes for achieving approximately 55 mm working distance from the T2-thread.
The lateral connection of the off-axis guider is also T2 - suitable for all popular autoguiders on the market. You can shift the T2 connector for optimally adjusting the focus of the autoguider.
