Celestron C8 Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescope OTA

The C8 is the classic among the Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes. For decades this instrument convinces amateur astronomers with very good performance. Celestron has continously improved this telescope. The C8 is a modern telescope fur universal application.

Application of the Celestron C8:

The telescope is suitable for visual observation and also astrophotography. You can use 2" and 1.25" accessories without problems and binoviewers for observation with both eyes can be attached directly, too. For astrophotography we offer high-quality corrector systems with very good field correction and increased speed at the same time. Particularly through the short design, the C8 is perfectly suited for mobile astrophotography.

Internal focusing

By primary mirror focusing a very large focusing range is ensured. Almost any accessory can be used. Two preloaded ball bearings are used for keeping the wanted mirror position.

High-quality materials and precisely CNC machined parts provide a high stability and accuracy which is necessary especially for astrophotography.
