Celestron Advanced VX C11 SC Goto Telescope

The Celestron C11 on the new Advanced VX GoTo mount is our recommendation for mobile astronomical observation. There is probably no other telescope which combines comparable aperture and this compactness. The C11 can easily be transported on the backseat of any automobile and still someone can sit next to it. The mount is well utilized with the 12 kg heavy telescope, but due to the robust workmanship, it is still held well. Even astrophotography is possible if one works sheltered.

With the practical internal focusing you can get into focus with any accessories, from a binoviewer to a photographic reducer/corrector.

The equatorial GoTo mount AVX from Celestron:

The equatorial GoTo mount Advanced VX holds the C11 with astonishingly good stability. Power reserves for accessories like cameras and visual accessories are available. Due to the accurate tracking, we recommend this mount especially for astrophotography. It locates any object in the sky automatically. There are more than 40,000 objects stored in the data base. The mount is delivered with a stable stainless steel tripod which can be extended up to 1400 mm height.
