The BRESSER Messier 6" Dobsonian is simply a breakthrough. Despite of its low price this telescope offers a versatility and quality rivaling a lot more expensive telescopes.

Not only for beginners - also enthusiastic and experienced amateur astronomers love this high performance and compact telescope for traveling and to discover the night sky. The main goal of this telescope is the quick setup and the ease of use. Simply put the Messier 5" Dobsonian telescope on a table in your backyard, point the telescope to your target object and you are ready to start your observation.

The Messier 56 Dobsonian is almost pre-assembled ex factory which means you can start within minutes. With the included standard accessories (LED red dot finder, 25 mm and 9 mm Kellner eyepieces and moon filter) the telescope is ready for observing. The built-in compass and circular level speeds up the telescopes orientation.

The optical diameter of 150 mm (6") does not restrict your observations on solar system objects like the moon or the planets - you can reach farther into the sky and explore globular and open clusters, nebulae and galaxies. Finding and observing is much easier with that fast (f/5) richfield telescope.

The 6" Dobsonian is also equipped with a large 2.0" focuser, which allows the use of 2.0" eyepieces with even larger fields of view. Due to the included eyepiece adapter 2" to 1.25", all 1.25" eyepieces can of course be used.

BRESSER also has equipped these dobsonians with a high quality parabolic primary mirror which offers a much better scharpness and contrast than other telescopes with a simple spherical primary mirror. In addition, the telescope has a particularly large secondary mirror of 55 mm diameter for ideal illumination of the image field.

The entire telescope tube can be slid and rotated within the tube rings - allowing you to balance it in an instant and adjust it to a comfortable viewing position. A built-in compass with a spirit level makes it easy to orient the telescope.

The telescope tube also features a standard GP dovetail bar, allowing the optics to be mounted on almost any other telescope mount, such as those with GOTO functionality and automatic tracking.

This telescope is setting a new standard in usability, versatility and performance in its price class.

Please note: Reflector telescopes with optical design "Newtonian" are very good for astronomical observing at the starry night sky. But these telescopes are not well usable for observing landscape and nature during daylight. Therefore we suggest refractor (lens) telescopes for landscape and nature observing.
