The 130 mm f/7 triplet EDT refractor is equipped with a very good objective. The apo element is from Ohara (Japan). The lens, free from chromatic aberration, is mounted in a temperature-compensated cell that also compensates for sub-zero temperatures. A solid metal tube and the PHOTOLINE RAP 2.5" deluxe focuser with rack and pinion drive make this apochromat a recommendation for the dedicated astrophotographer and the observer.

The 2.5" RAP focuser is a good alternative to the well-known Starlight FeatherTouch FTF25 - with a quality that is very close to this focuser. The focuser holds camera-side accessories up to about 5 kg without causing tilting. The illumination of the focuser is sufficient for full-frame size sensors.
Adjustment via rack and pinion - no friction - no yielding as with the Crayford focuser Self-centering eyepiece and accessory adapter for 2" and 1.25"
The lens of the PHOTOLINE 130 mm f/7 apo:
For this telescope, we deliberately chose the high-quality FPL53 as the material for the Apo element in order to offer the best possible optical quality.
The multi-coated lens is stored in a temperature-compensated cell. The lens is not cemented, the lenses are separated by air gaps. The lens edges are blackened.
Recommended correctors for astrophotography:
TS 2.5" full frame size corrector and image field flattening - TSFLAT2.5 The focal length is not changed. Recommended distance from the M69 connection thread of the corrector to the chip: 88 mm.TS 0,8x PHOTOLINE Reducer and corrector - TSRedM63-130 The corrector is calculated for the 130mm f/7 apo. The focal length is reduced to 728 mm, the focal ratio improves to f/5.6. Recommended distance from the M48 connection thread of the corrector to the chip: 55 mm.
