Vixen Polarie Star Tracker - for photographing the starry sky without trails

The photographic travelling mount POLARIE allows taking atmospheric exposures of the starry sky. If you mount the camera on a normal photo tripod and take an image of the stars, you will notice that after only a few seconds exposure time that the stars have turned into streaks. The reason is the rotation of the earth around its axis, creating the apparent motion of the stars.

The star tracker mount Vixen Polarie compensates for this motion. Even after several minutes exposure time, the stars stay beautifully point-shaped and spectacular details, like the milky way, become visible.

What the Vixen Polarie has to offer:

Time-lapse photographs gain dynamic with th ePolarie, as the camera is not directed to just one point, but performs a defined pan during the sequence.
