Vixen Polarmeter QPL Compass for Polar Star Alignment

The Vixen QPL Polarmeter is a high-quality compass with spirit level and altitude scale. As an accessory for the POLARIE, AP, SXP2 and AXJ mounts, it is used to quickly and easily locate the pole star, even if it is obscured by trees or a mountain, for example.

To do this, first attach the compass to the accessory shoe of the POLARIE Star Tracker or another device with a camera accessory shoe. Then simply use the height marker to set the height of the North Star and center the bubble of the spirit level on the mark. Then simply turn the compass to the north and the alignment is complete.
