A refractor with 150 mm aperture and good imaging, that is the dream of many amateur astronomers.The pinpoint stars, which only a refractor can bring, allow aesthetic observations on a high level.

The Celestron C6R is a versatile telescope.

Lunar and planetary observations: Jupiter´s moons can already be recognized, in calm air, as disks of different sizes. Mars reveals the finest structures and the growth and shrinking of the ice-covered polar caps can also be observed. The moon is littered with tiny rilles and craters, where smaller apertures simply show smooth surfaces. From a magnification of 120x we recommend the "Semi Apo Filter" from Baader, which increases the contrast even more.

Deep-sky observation: Deep-sky observation with this refractor is a real pleasure. Faint nebula structures in gas nebulae can be seen as well as globular clusters beyond our galaxy, which are resolved into single stars. We strongly recommend the use of 2" large-field eyepieces, only then the feeling of space is created when observing large deep-sky objects.

Photography: The refractor already comes with a T2 connector. With it you can directly adapt your DSLR camera and start into the exciting field of astrophotography.
