TS 2" Newtonian focuser with rack and pinion and ball bearings

The focuser is intended for do-it-yourself construction and for improving Newtonian telescopes. It holds accessories weighing up to 6 kg and, thanks to the combination of roller bearing and rack and pinion drive, allows clean adjustment without tilting, even under maximum load. The base on the adjustment side is flat and equipped with two M4 internal threads, so that a motorized focuser such as the EAF from ZWO can be mounted without an auxiliary adapter.

Connection to the telescope:

The focuser has a dovetail ring with a diameter of 78 mm. It fits into our Newtonian bases, so you can attach the focuser optimally to your tube. The matching bases are linked in the accessories section.

Connection of camera-side accessories:

The focuser is supplied with a 2" and a 1.25" receptacle. An M56x0.75 external thread is available for screw adaptations. This thread is both on the 2" receptacle and directly on the drawtube, so you can unscrew the receptacle. With individual adaptations, you can also realize a screw adaptation for astrophotography.
