TS-Optics Wide-field Binoviewer for astronomical Telescopes
The TS wide-field binoviewer is an interesting alternative for lunar, planetary and deep-sky observations. This binoviewer offers an image field that is over 25% larger than of the smaller binoviwers with 22 mm prisms. This allows you to use all high-quality 1.25" eyepieces without vignetting (edge shadowing), such as the TS WA eyepieces or the Baader Hyperion eyepieces. You can view not only moon and planets, but also nebulae, galaxies or star clusters with both eyes.

Many refractors from TS-Optics offer a long working distance (back focus). Due to the short design of the TS wide field binoviewer, you do not need a glass path corrector and thus gain even more field.

We attached great importance to the precise clamping of the 1.25" eyepieces in the binoviewer. Minimal tilting of the eyepieces quickly leads to unsightly double images. This binoviewer completely encompasses the 1.25" barrel and automatically centers it on the optical axis during clamping. This means that eyepieces with a safety groove can also be clamped precisely without tilting or jamming.

Practical tip from TS:
The T2 male threads of many adapters are too short. They can be turned into the retaining ring without touching the actual binocular base. This causes the retining ring to rotate further and tilt sideways.

The problem can be solved by using the T2ABA25 spacer, which extends the contact surface of the binoviewer in the direction of the adapter so that the male T2-thread can touch it.

Question:
Can Baader GWK glass path correctors be used at the TSGFBinoviewer?

Answer from Teleskop-Service:
The Baader GWK are of course not only good for Baader binocular viewers, they also work well with the TS-Optics Weitfeld Binoviewer. Adaptation to 1.25" or 2" is only possible with the matching Baader adapters:
BA2458105 - Adapter to 1.25"
BA2408150 - Adapter to 2"

These two adapters have integrated the female threads for the Baader GWK. You need the T2ABA25 to fit the Bino adapter to the short T2 thread of the Baader adapter. The ring is placed in the internal thread of the binocular attachment and reduces the internal thread by 2.5 mm.

Question:
What to do if the interpupillary distance is too easily adjustable?

Answer from Teleskop-Service:
For this, Teleskop-Service has created a short illustrated guide, you can download it here.
