TS-Optics 3.7" RAP Focuser

The quality of this focuser comes close to the well-known Feather Touch focusers from Starlight. The large focuser allows even using full-frame size and medium-format cameras without vignetting, of course with suitable correctors.

Drawtube with rack & pinion drive - no friction - no bending like the Crayford focuser.

Internal baffles against reflections

360° rotation for optimal selection of the field of view

Self centering 2" and 1.25" adapter for correct clamping on the optical axis.

Connection thread for photo adaptions: M100x1 thread (female), M92x1 thread (female), M68x1 ZEISS style thread (female)

Question:
Can you have the speed reduction on the other side?

Answer from Teleskop-Service:
This works - just loosen the two middle Allen screws that fix the drive, turn the drive 180° and retighten the screws.

Adjustment in case of annoying image shift

The image may shift if the focusing direction is changed or the telescope is swiveled. The problem can be solved by adjusting the distance from the pinion to the rack. Here are the instructions: Adjusting-the-TS-CF-Apo-Focuser.pdf
