The guide telescope is extremely necessary when doing astrophotography, the UltraGuide MKII is a telescope with a focal length of 240 mm for a ratio equal to f/4.0, ideal for instruments with medium or short focal length.

The 31.8 mm focuser allows you to use the UltraGuide MKII both as a finder and as a guide telescope, in fact it is equipped with a T2 thread to allow attachment to most guide cameras on the market.

What distinguishes the UltraGuide MKII 60 mm from other guide telescopes on the market?

The UltraGuide MKII 60 mm was carefully selected from several models for better optical quality and greater robustness due to the all-aluminum body. In addition, the helical focus is the great strength of this instrument, it allows a fine and very precise adjustment.

With this instrument you can guide up to 1300 mm of focal length.

The back-focus allows a very comfortable focusing of the most demanding eyepieces and most of the cameras on the market (QHY, ZWO, ALTAIR ASTRO, etc.)

The UltraGuide MKII 60 mm guiding telescope, thanks to its helical focuser, always maintains the correct orientation of the inserted camera; using the focusing system, the camera does not rotate and this function is essential for a correct use with autoguiding software (such as PHD).

The helical focuser has a maximum travel of 10 mm which allows for fast, clean and precise focusing.

Included in the price of the telescope you will have the rings of 80 mm, with three screws with nylon tip, offset and adjustable that will allow you a greater precision of the instrument.

The telescope comes complete with a Vixen mini-bar, compatible with various finder bases, some of which you will find among the recommended products; otherwise you can easily attach it to a clamp and apply it to any Vixen or Losmandy bar.
