The Sky-Watcher SynCam 533C amateur astronomy camera is a highly compact, passively cooled CMOS color camera with 9.04 megapixels resolution, featuring the proven Sony IMX533 sensor featuring 3.76 µm square pixels.

Its primary applications are high-resolution planetary photography and photography of the Sun and Moon. However, thanks to the extremely low readout noise and the absence of amplifier glow in its image sensor, it is also suitable for entry-level deep-sky photography of galaxies and nebulae. Using stacking or live stacking with compatible software, detailed, low-noise images can be achieved.

Thanks to its compact design, light weight, and small diameter, this camera is an ideal match for for the Sky-Watcher HAX125DX Honders Miniastrograph, as a larger camera would be too bulky and obstruct the telescope´s aperture. The black housing design prevents unwanted reflections.

The SynCam 533C camera is fully compatible with the software ecosystem of ToupTek Astronomy Inc. and is supported by a wide range of astrophotography acquisition and control applications.

Supported operating systems: Windows, macOS (OS X), Linux, Android.

Supported software: ASCOM, SharpCap, Nebulosity, DeepSky Stacker, N.I.N.A., FireCapture, MaximDL, ToupSky, INDI, PHD Guiding, Registax, INDIGO, MetaGuide, AstroStack. The camera´s high performance and wide range of applications will provide users with outstanding astrophotography results.
