Sightron 2" Dual Narrowband Nebula Contrast Booster Filter DBP-EX-48

The dual-band filter reliably suppresses stray light and allows exposure times that are many times longer than without a filter with a corresponding increase in contrast. This makes it possible to take pictures of gas nebulae close to the city. The filter transmits only the two most important wavelengths of interest for astrophotography ([O III] and H-alpha).

Halos around bright stars are suppressed
A modern anti-reflection coating suppresses the disturbing halos around bright stars. This means that the filter can also be used close to sensors, for example between the corrector and sensor.
