TS Top Plate for Skywatcher Star Adventurer
On the telescope side, the Adventurer from Skywatcher has a simple EQ5 style saddle plate, where a screw presses onto the dovetail bar. If you want to replace this simple clamp with a more elegant and stable surface clamp, you need this attachment plate.Installation is simple, the original quick-release coupling is removed by loosening the four M4 hexagon socket screws. The SKAD-PLATE now fits directly into the opening and can be attached using the four original screws.
You now have a flat support surface with 2x M6 internal threads with a diameter of 50 mm. You can then attach your dovetail bar, telescope mount or saddle plate.

"Not suitable (as was advertised) for Star Adventurer 2i simply because there are no vixen clamps available with a sufficiently large central hole to allow the polar scope to be used properly."
