Pegasus Astro S-II Photo Filter - 2" Cell
The narrowband line filters are useful for photographing emission nebulae in light-polluted skies.

This narrowband filter is centered on a wavelength of 672 nm, corresponding to [S II] emission line of the singly ionized sulfur, and has 7 nm bandwidth. This reduces the intensity of certain wavelengths of light, specifically those produced by artificial light including mercury vapor and both high and low pressure sodium vapor lights and the unwanted natural light caused by neutral oxygen emission in our atmosphere (i.e. skyglow).

Common features
Parfocal Filters: The filters are parfocal which ensures that you will not have to refocus when you quickly switch filters to capture images.

Anti-Reflection Coatings: Multi-layer anti-reflection coating ensure no halos, ghosting or reflections. Filters are resistant to scratches and do not get affected by temperature change.
