TS Infrared Pass Filter 850 nm
The filter only lets through infrared light with wavelengths from 850 nm. In this range, the seeing effects (air turbulence) are significantly lower than in visible light. This makes images of the moon and planets sharper. In addition, many objects reveal exciting details that are normally outshone by visible light. The filter is also often used for daytime and twilight photography of the moon and planets because it darkens the brightened sky almost completely. The effects are even stronger than with the TSIR720, which opens much earlier.

The TSIR850 is also suitable for larger telescopes and can also be used well for nature photography.

Further applications for the TS IR pass filter:
In addition to photographing the moon and planets, the filter offers other exciting photographic applications, where the TSIR850 usually has clear advantages over the TSIR720.
Daytime photography - the sky is practically pitch black and the daytime shots are reminiscent of night shots under a full moon.
Shooting in haze or light fog, because as soon as you see a hint of blue, IR should pass through
Plants, because they reflect infrared very well - if they are healthy
Deep-sky photography of objects such as young stars in dust clouds and star-forming regions

When is the filter not suitable?
An IR pass filter is very special and naturally designed for photography.
The filter is not suitable for visual observation, not even for observing the sun, as the human eye is not sensitive in the IR range.
The filter is not suitable for cameras with a built-in IR cut filter.
