The filter set for tricolor imaging
This filter kit includes the complete LRGB set and a dual band line filter for H-alpha, H-beta and oxygen (O-III).

LRGB filter set
This set divides the spectrum into its components red, green, blue and luminance.

OIII emission overlaps on blue and green filters with maximum transmission to allow high efficiency and natural color imaging. The gap between green and red filters serves to block out the primary sodium light pollution line at 589 nm and improves color balance and separation.

Main Use and Performance
Work well with debayered monochrome cameras
Suitable for deepsky and planetary imaging
RGB-imaging allows equal weighting factors for each channel, very important for automated imaging.
The ideal raw material for image processing in the sRGB color space is available with LRGB filter set and mono camera.

L-eNhance dual-band nebula filter
The L-eNhance filter allows the use of color cameras such as SLRs or single-shot astro cameras, saving time and money. The filter is dual bandpass filter specially developed for color cameras. The important areas in which nebulae glow, such as H-alpha, H-beta and oxygen (O-III), are let through almost unhindered. The rest is blocked. The filter is a real alternative to narrow-band nebula photography with monochrome cameras. The natural colour of the nebula is preserved in the best possible way. The results are astrophotographic results reminiscent of working in the dark high mountains.

Main Use and Performance
Suitable for photographing on faint emission nebulae close to cities
The L-eNhance filter is the first narrowband addition to LRGB set for most imagers who blend a black-and-white emission line image into RGB data to enhance structural detail while maintaining natural look
It is also helpful for those cases when you need to work quickly with a color camera.

Which side of the filter needs to face towards the telescope?
Optolong has a good explanation on their page with a check on unmounted filters. With mounted filters, it´s easy. The side with the external thread must face the camera.
