Explore Scientific variable Polarizing Filter
The variable polarizing filter allows stepless adjustment of the image brightness and thus saves several gray filters. This allows strong contrast differences to be compensated and over-illumination is prevented. Finer details, for example on the surface of the moon, are perceived.

Using the filter is simple. By twisting the two halves of the cell, the desired strength of the filter effect is set.

The filter has an external thread and an internal thread, so it can also be combined with other filters, for example color filters, to create a further increase in contrast.
