Daystar SolarScout SS60-ds - DoubleStack Performance without additional costs

With the SS60-DS, Daystar offers a high-quality, fully equipped H-alpha telescope with 60 mm aperture at a sensational price. This telescope shows the H-alpha details on the sun´s surface with high contrast and also the prominences which are otherways only visible during a total solar eclipse.

The telescope is equipped with a QUARK H-Alpha filters so that you get higher contrast on the solar surface (chromosphere). An integrated heater regulates thermal expansion, thus the filter always stays optimally adjusted.

But this telescope also offers other features which are not available in this price range until now:

High-quality, H-Alpha-optimized objective with 60 mm aperture

The coating was also optimized for 656 nm wavelength
