With the SS80C, Daystar offers a flexible, high-quality H-Alpha telescope with 80 mm aperture at an affordable price. This telescope shows you especially well the prominences, which are otherwise only visible during a total solar eclipse, and this even if they are located in front of the solar disc.

The telescope is equipped with an interchangeable QUARK H-Alpha filter, so you can optimize the filter effect not only for the particular observation, but also observe with other telescopes! A built-in heater regulates the temperature (thermal expansion!), so the filter always stays optimally adjusted.
