The tripod legs are attached to the base via wide legs. Even when fully extended, the tripod remains rigid. The wide legs provide an excellent balance between weight and load-bearing capacity, reminiscent of carbon fiber tripods that are significantly more expensive.

Precise movements thanks to the fluid tilt head

The integrated fluid tilt head offers clear advantages over conventional tilt heads. Thanks to the integrated fluid damping, there are no jerky movements. Even heavy instruments at high magnifications can be aligned precisely and smoothly, allowing the desired object to be brought exactly into the center of the field of view. The tilt head really shows its strength during astronomy: The higher the telescope is raised, the greater the resistance becomes. This automatically compensates for any imbalance caused by heavy optics and makes operation significantly more comfortable. The position of the control handle can be individually adjusted. Of course, the tilt head can be fully locked if necessary.

Thanks to the fluid pan head, the tripod is ideal for use with binoculars, spotting scopes, or telescopes. Once you?ve set the desired resistance, you can pan the instrument freely and smoothly without any additional clamping. Photographers also benefit from this quick operation: Valuable seconds are saved, and spontaneous snapshots with telephoto lenses are effortless.

Suitable for any surface

The tripod legs are equipped with carpet protectors, which are ideal for smooth surfaces such as asphalt, balconies, or indoor areas. When the protector is screwed in, a sturdy spike is revealed, providing a secure grip on soft surfaces.

Quick leveling without adjusting the tripod legs

For smooth horizontal pans, the tilt head should be aligned perfectly horizontally. With the FQTL, this is particularly easy: Loosen the knurled screw under the tilt head and align it directly - without having to adjust the tripod legs at all. This allows you to comfortably compensate for up to 10° of tilt. An integrated spirit level reliably shows you the exact alignment.

Work flexibly - sitting or standing

Thanks to the twice-segmented tripod legs, the height can be adjusted continuously between 86 cm and 150 cm. This allows you to take photos or observe your subject comfortably whether sitting or standing.
