The Wanderer FilterCube 2" / 50 mm is a professional 5-position motorized filter wheel designed for prime-focus telescopes, especially ultra-fast optical systems such as the Celestron RASA 11 and RASA 36. Thanks to its innovative Zero-Obstruction design and compact 114 mm outer diameter, the FilterCube introduces no additional obstruction in the light path.

Its proprietary Patented Side-Flip Filter System includes 4 side-flip filter slots plus 1 dedicated L filter slot, providing quick and convenient filter access while maintaining exceptional structural rigidity.

Supported filters:

2" mounted filters

50 mm unmounted filters

Supported unmounted filter thickness: 1.9 - 3.5 mm

Filters thinner than 2.5 mm require optional shims

The internal optical design has been engineered to minimize:

Ghosting

Halos

Rainbow artifacts

Flat frame calibration issues

Internal reflections common in RASA imaging systems

The Wanderer FilterCube also features:

Integrated manual CAA (camera angle adjuster)

3-point rear tilt adjuster

Easy collimation access

Compatibility with QHY, ZWO, ToupTek, Player One and other major camera brands

With an optical thickness of 60.3 mm, it meets the RASA 11 backfocus requirement when paired with 12.5 mm back focus cameras. An additional WandererAstro adapter is required for RASA 36 systems.
