The Powerseeker 80EQ enables a high-level start into astronomy. The multi-coated lens shows finest details on the lunar surface - not only the well known craters, but mountains, grooves and cracks become visible. Watch the planets of the solar system up to the distant Uranus and see first detail on some of them.

80mm aperture show you already thousands of celestial objects beyond the solar system. The bright gaseous nebulae show their first structures. Watch objects within the Milky Way and get amazed by the pinpoint fine stars this well made optics reveals.

- Der tube and especially the focuser are made of metal - no plastics - and the focuser bears a photo connection thread

The equatorial mount EQ1: The system mount EQ1 holds the tube well. It comes complete with flexible controls enabling manual fine adjustments. So you can center your object exactly to the middle of the field of view, if it is astronomical or on Earth. The height-adjustable tripod is part of the mount.

Terrestrial observations: The Powerseeker 80 EQ can be easily used for objects on our own planet. Just aim with the finderscope towards a tree, a bird or a mountain peak and magnify your target using the eyepieces included. The well made optics will show you much detail, which you cannot see with the unaided eye.

Photography through the Powerseeker 80 EQ: Yes, this is possible as well ! The telescopes includes already a T2 connection which threads to your SLR or digital camera using an optional T2 adapter ring (see "recommended accessories").
