The Powerseeker 80 EQ allows you to start astronomy at a really high level. The multi-coated optics show finest details on the lunar surface. Not only the well-known craters, but also mountains, grooves and cracks in the lunar surface become visible. Observe the planets of the solar system right down to distant Uranus and even recognise the first details on some planets.

80 mm aperture show you already thousands of celestial objects beyond the solar system with many details. The bright gas nebulae are even shown with first structures. Take a look at objects of our Milky Way and be inspired by needle-fine stars, the precisely manufactured optics make it possible.

The most important advantages at a glance:

- the multi-coated lens already offers 78% more light than the lens of a 60 mm refractor
- The tube and especially the eyepiece extension are solid metal, not plastic and equipped with a camera connector
- The accessories are of course 1.25".
- The device can be used for astronomical observations, for terrestrial observations and also for astrophotography.
- The equatorial mount is suitable for astronomy and can even be equipped with a tracking motor.

The EQ1 equatorial mount: The EQ1 system mount holds the telescope with good stability. It is even supplied with shafts for manual fine adjustment. This allows you to centre the target in the sky or on the earth. The height-adjustable aluminium tripod is part of the mount.

Observing terrestrial objects: The Powerseeker 80 EQ is already fit for earth observation. Use the small finder scope to aim at a distant object, a tree, a bird or even a mountain peak and then bring the object closer with the supplied eyepieces. The well-made optics will show you many details that you could not see with the naked eye.

Photography through the Powerseeker 80 EQ: Yes, this is also possible, the telescope is even supplied with a T2 connection (photo direct connection), with which you can attach your reflex camera or digital camera to the Powerseeker and successfully take pictures. We offer suitable connection adapters under "recommended accessories".
