The AZ4 azimuthal mount

The AZ4 azimuthal mount from Skywatcher is equally suitable for Earth observation and astronomy. The stable mount holds instruments up to approx. 8 kg. The tube is easily attached via the saddle plate.

The special advantage of the mount lies in the sensitive slewing that can be carried out with the mount. A precise bearing of the axes combined with the free adjustment of the resistance makes this possible. You can easily pan from the horizon to the zenith and will have no problems with the tripod. The lever can be fixed in two positions, depending on the observation area (earth observation or sky observation).

The solid height-adjustable aluminium tripod is light and yet offers high stability. You can set an observation height of approx. 100 to 160 cm.
