TS-Optics CF-APO 155 mm f/8 FPL55 Triplet Apochromat
The largest apo from Teleskop-Service is the inexpensive entry into the world of really big refractors. Such a telescope offers joy for a lifetime and is an attraction in every observatory. This apochromatic refractor offers a number of interesting features:
Apochromatic triplet lens with FPL55 as APO element and additional special lanthanum glass for even better chromatic correction. Improved cell for even more adjustment stability, the cell is adjustable via pull and push screws. A very good 3.7" focuser with rack and pinion drive. The drawtube is ball bearing mounted for precise adjustment even under heavy loads, for example by heavy cameras. Generous working distance of 140 mm from the 2" receptacle, which can be further extended by a removable segment between tube and focuser. This even allows the use of binoviewers without glass path compensation. Each apo is delivered with a test certificate by the manufacturer. The apochromat is given a serial number. Basically the apo can be combined with all suitable correctors. We especially recommend the following correctors, which are linked in the recommended accessories.
TSFLAT3 - 1.0x correctorThe corrector is screwed directly onto the M92 thread of the focuser. The corrector provides illumination and correction up to 60 mm image circle diameter. The focal length is not changed.
TSRedJM63B - 0.8x correctorThe corrector is screwed directly onto the M63 thread of the focuser. It reduces the focal length to 992 mm and improves the focal ratio to f/6.4. The corrector provides illumination up to 42 mm image circle diameter.
TSAPORED075 - 0.74x correctorThe corrector is screwed to the M92 thread of the focuser with the Adapter M92A-M88i (optional, linked in the accessory section). It reduces the focal length to 917 mm and improves the focal ratio to f/5.92. The corrector provides illumination up to 44 mm image circle diameter.
