"Ausgezeichnetes Produkt. Ist Ersatz für eine ältere Meade-Montierung. Läuft gut mit Nachführungssystem MGEN3 ***"

"Leicht zu bedienende Montage die meine Erwartungen erfüllt. Ein aufsteckbarer Winkeleinblick für den eingebauten Polsucher zur Ausrichtung währe wunschenswert."

"I was looking for a more portable ""Travel Mount"" for Astrophotography with DSLR and smaller APO´s and the EQM-35 Pro seemed to fit the bill. After using the mount now for about 2 months, overall I´m pleased with it. The Pro´s are: Light weight and easily transportable (as compaired to my EQ-6). No need to dissassemble it, I can lay it across the back seat of my Car and close the doors. The Tri-pod is well built and sturdy. The larger RA Gear is pretty sturdy. The ability to remove the Declination Axis and use it in it´s RA only mode it really nice The Con´s: The Backlash ""out of the Box"" is awful...The first thing you need to do is adjust it. The built in Polar Scope is also awful...The crosshairs on the inner lens were skewed about 4° making it impossible to get any kind of Polar Alignment. I had to loosen the inner glass and try to rotate with my little finger into the correct position while trying not to smudge it with the grease that was liberly smeared on the inner threads, it´s still not 100% correct. I always have a larger elevation error than azimuthal. It took many, many Polar alignments to find the ""Sweet Spot"" on the Circles. I have a Polemaster but haven´t used it on the EQ-35 yet. Once the Polar Alignment issues were in hand it guides prety well. The Alu. motor brackets dont quite hold the motors in the correct place (too much play). If you loosen them for any reason male sure to check the alignment of the Brass gears when reassembling. I have loaded the mount with 2 DSLR´s and 300mm Zeiss Tele-Tessar Lenses (about 8kg)using 2x CA-VI TS-Optics Telephoto Lens and Camera holder with Vixen style dovetail bar and a TSDM39 TS-Optics Dual Mount EQ5 level. It´ not quite loaded up to it´s max but it´s close. I was able to get 4 min. unguided Subs in this configuration. When I reduced the weight to about 7kgs (changing to 200mm Takumar lenses)I was able to get 6 min unguided Subs. In a ""normal configuration with a single DSLR and Lens I was able to go 8 min. unguided. I haven´t used it yet guided...so I can´t give any impressions on PEC etc... Overall I´m very pleased with the Mount, for the Price and the ""Grab and Go"" portability it´s a bargin. I find the ability to make 5 to 8 min unguided Subs with minimal ""stuff"" (polemaster, computers etc...) fantastic. Literaly take it out of the Car, set it up, Polar Align and ready to Shoot... "
