TS-Optics Phoenix Electronic Filter Wheel 5x 2 Inch
Change the filters in front of your TS-Optics camera via software command
Filter size 2" mounted or 50 mm unmounted, sufficient for sensors up to full frame 5 filter slots allow for common filter combinations like LRGB + H-alpha M54 connection supplies sufficient clear aperture even for full-frame cameras 21 mm optical path works well with most cooled cameras, even when using a TS off-axis guider Well combined with PO-OAG-MAX M54m-M48f extender supplied for using without an OAG Powered via USB2.0 connection, so only one cable is required.

TS-Optics Phoenix Filter Wheel 5x 2 Inch
Change the filters in front of your TS-Optics camera via software command
This filter wheel features a 5 position carousel for mounted 2" filters or unmounted 50 mm filters. This size filter is appropriate (depending on optical speed) for camera sensors up to full frame without vignetting.
The filter wheel is 21 mm in optical length and has female M54 threads at both ends - suitable for many astro cameras in combination with an off-axis guider.
With the standard extender included in the package, the filter wheel can reach 56 mm back focal distance with many TS-Optics TE-cooled cameras. It is also compatible with other cameras with 17.5 mm back focal distance. The difference from the mentioned 56 mm to the common 55 mm working distance of many correctors compensates for light path difference caused by thickness of the filters.
The filter wheel supports USB2.0 interface and also is powered through the USB2.0 connection. The user simply needs to connect it with quite any PC control device, no further cables necessary.
Some technical detail Hall Sensing Technology: Traditional infrared sensors scan positioning holes to locate the position, this way the positioning accuracy depends on the size of the positioning hole - the smaller the hole, the higher the accuracy, but the diameter of the hole must have at least 1 mm diameter, otherwise it is difficult to manufacture. But if a magnet on the filter carousel is used, the Hall sensor will detect the center of the magnet, the positioning accuracy is better than infrared sensor. Hybrid stepping motor: This super thin hybrid stepping motor can provide very smooth rotation, almost no vibration when change the filter position. Type-C data port: Using a USB Type-C port can reduce the thickness of red housing piece. Supported filters: Phoenix Wheel supports 5× 2" mounted filters / 50 mm unmounted filters. 2" mounted filters might not exceed the thicknesses mentioned in the "Technical data" section.
How to achieve a suitable back focal length?
The necessary backfocus can be achieved with this combination:
Telescope - M54m-M48f extender (17.5 mm) - Phoenix Wheel (21 mm) - camera (17.5 mm)
The resulting 56 mm back focus compensates for light path difference caused by filters.
