Vixen VC 200L Reflector Telescope for Astrophotography

The VC 200L is a highly corrected telescope for astrophotography with 200 mm aperture and 1800 mm focal length. The astrograph is a 3-element system, consisting of an aspherical primary mirror, a convex secondary mirror and a triplet corrector element in the optical path. The result of the VISAC system (Vixen Sixth-Order Aspheric Cassegrain is a fully illuminated and corrected image field with 42 mm diameter for ambitious astrophotography. Even in the corners of the field the stars are smaller than 15 micrometres, according to Vixen.

Although the instrument is designed for astrophotography, it can of course also be used excellently for visual observation.

The use of a special coating (state-of-the-art technology) provides an optimal mirror surface for observing and photographing deep-sky objects.
It allows individual coating and corrects errors on the mirrors individually.
